NBA 3000 Entrepreneurship and Private Equity

This course uses lectures, live case studies, and business plans written by student teams to address entrepreneurial management in start-up ventures and private equity investments. Topics include financing, valuation, growth management, and buying and selling businesses. Guest lecturers speak on specialized topics such as leveraged buyouts, distressed businesses, advice from experienced board members, and private equity deals. The course attempts to integrate marketing, finance, operations, and human resource topics in the context of high-growth business ventures and private equity.
