ORIE 5126 Supply Chain Management
Spring. 2 credits. Prerequisites: ORIE 3310, 3510 or MBA courses in operations management.
Supply chain management focuses on the flow of products, information, and money through organizations that constitute the supply chain. The course provides an overview of the key principles on which an effective supply chain should be constructed. These principles are presented and illustrated through a collection of cases. These cases are taught using an experiential learning model. Additionally, applications of the analytic and simulation tools to the design and operation of supply chains are given.
