BTRY 3010 Biological Statistics I (also NTRES 3130, STSCI 2200)

Fall. 4 credits.

Develops and applies statistical methods to problems encountered in the biological and environmental sciences. Methods include data visualization, population parameter estimation, sampling, bootstrap resampling, hypothesis testing, the Normal and other probability distributions, and an introduction to modeling. Carries out applied analysis in a statistical computing environment.
